ADAMO is looking for a qualified carpenter to cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. This job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products. A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of wood/metal framing and other carpentry materials. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential. The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting buildings and products.


  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
  • Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
  • Cut, shape and smooth lumber and other material (e.g., fiberglass) according to measurements.
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
  • Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall; ensuring the materials are leveled and compatible.
  • Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install where designated.
  • Inspect jobsites, and conduct repairs or maintenance.
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures.


  • Proven experience as carpenter.
  • Hands-on experience working with carpentry tools and materials.
  • Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
  • Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.).
  • Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Willingness to always follow safety guidelines.
  • Good knowledge of English.
  • Good understanding of basic math.
  • Good physical condition and endurance.

Adamo Security Group is a general contractor looking for a full time, experienced carpenter willing to travel to join our team. The experience should be well rounded and include framing, drywall, carpentry, doors, finish work, and painting.

· High school diploma and successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required.

  • Comply with OSHA safety standards.
  • Knowledge of construction operations.
  • Various tool knowledge required.
  • Be able to work alone and with others.
  • Able to provide recent relevant work experience in construction.
  • Capable of reading and understanding plans.

Job Duties

  • Perform tasks involving framing, drywall, electrical, carpentry, doors, glass, HVAC, finish work, painting, and in the field with minimal supervision.
  • Assist other craft and trade workers.
  • Take direction from site manager and other supervisors.
  • Willing to perform additional duties upon request.
  • Maintain clean work areas; sweep, remove trash, organize materials, and keep area clean.
  • Lift and move items up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • Load or offload materials or supplies.
  • Comfortable on ladder/scaffold.
  • Traveling commitment is 75% per year.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is experience-based, ranging from $20.00 to $28.00 per hour. Adamo offers contribution to health, dental and vision insurance (company group plan), 401k matching retirement contributions (when enrolled in company plan), paid holidays, paid vacation, and sick leave.
